After 3 years of researching and working with the audio archives and recorded tapes of Sun Shyne Music we are proud to be issuing this fantastic 38 song compilation. All of this music was previously released on albums that feature the gifted vocalist and talented musician Rita Clarke accompanied by her many working bands and musical partners covering a 35 year period. This golden audio potpourri features some of Rita’s most popular recordings and a few that had very limited circulation. This carefully curated selection of live and studio recordings were all skillfully transferred, edited, overdubbed, remixed and remastered to the highest audiophile recording standards. This final assortment of masterful melodies and golden tunes represent the soulful expressions of a talented and skilled group of musicians performing at their very best. There is also a colorful Collector’s booklet that will be issued with these songs to provide all the recording details of each and every song.
We are also asking you, our fans and listeners, to choose your 6 favorite songs from this compilation and submit your vote to us for consideration for the 12 songs which will be issued on the “Down The Road – Listener’s Dozen” vinyl album that will be pressed later this year.
