Rita, Richard and the Mystic Ya Ya Band are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of longtime musican, friend and audio engineer Rick Arenz.
Rick’s friendly demeanor, words of wisdom, and musical anecdotes will be dearly missed. We are all better for knowing him and are eternally grateful for his dedication to the music buisness for more than five decades. The Mystic Ya Ya Band will forever bear his trademark sound and be a welcoming place to remember and recognize his life and legacy.
The new album “Take Care Of The Heart” is a tribute album and is lovingly dedicated to Rick.
Rick was a gifted and great musician, skilled audio engineer, kindred soul and gentle giant with impeccable standards of excellence. It has been an honor to share the stage of life and perform with him.
